COVID-19 Relief

At EagleTree, we are committed to supporting our communities.  This dedicated commitment called for an even deeper sense of giving during the COVID-19 crisis.  As part of our charitable initiative, EagleTree  donated approximately 1 Million masks to charitable organizations across the nation in need as well as financial donations to 20 charities chosen by our employees, including substantial donations to the following three charities:

Since its founding in 2000, DonorsChoose has empowered public school teachers nationwide to provide important materials and classroom experiences for students. EagleTree is excited to support the efforts of DonorsChoose in providing much needed classroom materials and experiences in New York City.

Since 1982, City Harvest’s food rescue initiatives have helped feed the nearly 1.2 million New Yorkers who struggle to put meals on their table.  In light of COVID-19, many more families are struggling to make ends meet, and EagleTree is proud to support City Harvest in ensuring families will still have access to nutritious food.

The New York State First Responders Fund was created in April 2020, with the mission to provide much needed medical PPE to New York hospitals and medical professionals, as well as assist COVID-19 healthcare workers and first responders with personal expenses and costs. New York has been severely impacted by COVID-19, and EagleTree is pleased to be able to make a contribution to its community by providing financial support.

In addition, we have also supported the COVID-19 relief efforts of the following:

The American Opera Project

The Bowery Mission

CityMeals on Wheels

Dress for Success

Feeding America

Food Bank for New York City

Larc School

My Sisters' Place

New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund

Ongoing Community Commitments

Since 2018, EagleTree has partnered with several charitable organizations by volunteering our time and providing financial support, which we are continuing to do with respect to their COVID-19 efforts and their ongoing initiatives.

Founded in 1998, Project Sunshine works with medical centers across the United States to put on in-hospital events and programs that meet the non-medical, social-emotional needs of children dealing with illness. EagleTree established a partnership with Project Sunshine in 2018 and continues to support the charity both financially and through employee volunteer programs.  EagleTree’s contributions have helped further Project Sunshine’s mission statement: “While medical experts deliver treatment, we deliver smiles. Together, we brighten lives.”

For over 40 years, Ronald McDonald House has provided temporary lodging and childcare for nearly 60,000 families while their child battles cancer. In addition to housing, Ronald McDonald House provides a supportive and caring environment that fosters the development of child-to-child and parent-to-parent support systems. In 2019, EagleTree employees volunteered their time with Ronald McDonald House NYC to help provide nutritional support for the children and their families.

Support Our Troops helps serve as the bridge between Americans and their troops abroad. The organization provides morale-boosting care packages, operates a Satellite Communication Support Program to enable troops in remote locations to remain in contact with their families, and offers programs to provide stability and continuity for overseas military kids. EagleTree is proud to have provided Support Our Troops with much-needed supplies, including non-perishable foods, books, toiletries and care items, along with personalized notes from EagleTree’s employees expressing gratitude for the troops stationed abroad.
